Career Profile: Paul-Antoine
Paul-Antoine joined Schlumberger in 2011 after his successful participation in the company internship program. As an intern, he worked in optimization and parallelization projects and on the development of a plugin for seismic inversion for the Petrel E&P software platform. Currently, he is working on solving challenges in the seismic domain and on the development of several software plugins.
While focusing on his day-to day activities, Paul-Antoine also manages to dedicate time to continue learning and developing his competencies on programing languages, as well as keeping up-to-date with industry developments in computer science and frameworks. “Schlumberger provides many opportunities for me to continue to advance in my career, offering access to training in the most up-to-date digital technology tools.”
His participation in various Schlumberger knowledge-sharing communities has helped Paul-Antoine to develop his expertise and share his personal interests as well. “I have been interested in data visualization for a long time and I have recently started making small visualizations using Schlumberger data, for fun and to learn new skills.” He shares his work on the Schlumberger knowledge-sharing system and enjoys participating in discussions on topics such as parallel computing, human interface, high-performance computing, system architecture and design.
