This is an onshore position, based in Coevorden, 20% travel can be expected in western Europe and its duty during weekends.  We welcome applications from recent graduates as well as experienced hands-on personnel. Job Description:
The Bulk Plant Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to customers.  The Bulk Plant Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work and manages risk during service delivery.  This person manages bulk plant facilities to facilitate delivery of prepared products and bulk materials to wellsites, maintaining excellent quality control in accordance with company policies and procedures. 

You will work with, amongst others, cementing units, basic calculations, pneumatics, and valves.


Essential responsibilities and duties:

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Blend and mix bulk products for delivery to the wellsite, on time, according to the job program design.
  • Check and/or calculate quantities of material blends required prior to loading.
  • Coordinate movement of bulk products to and from locations with the Logistics Team.
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory and daily paperwork completion for goods received and shipped.
  • Maintain bulk plant equipment by performing a daily check while ensuring the bulk plant is kept clean.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.

Qualifications and competencies:

  • Minimum LTS, technical VMBO or MBO.
  • Diploma as a mechanic or other formal competency within the discipline.
  • Experience from industry, maritime or offshore related business will be advantage.
  • Specific experience with valves and pneumatics is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics.
  • Basic computer skills as Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) is a must.
  • Dutch or German will be an advantage.
  • Truck driverlicense would be an advantage or the willingness to get a license.
  • Relevant courses and training will be provided, but candidates with other relevant certificates such as crane operation, forklift, etc. are encouraged to apply.
