About Role & Responsibilities
As a Technical Application Specialist, you are expected to...
- Continually learn about new technologies, generate new ideas and improve the use of modern technologies across our application portfolio.
- Formulate and defines system scope and objectives.
- Program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
- Designs, implements, and deploys solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet our APM needs.
- Understand the business or function for which application is designed.
- Utilize existing Configuration and thereby enhancing Application Portfolio Management (APM) as needed.
- Utilize strong technical competencies and expertise to identify, analyse and troubleshoot any production issues and maintain procedures that meet business user expectations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams & development teams to understand and provide automated solutions/fixes.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery and Support Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of the user and stakeholder needs and requirements.
- Participate in SCRUM events and complete assigned items within the determined Sprint target.
- Meet with key stakeholders and follow up with action items for any workarounds necessary as per the nature of the requirements.

- Work closely with analysts, Managers and SMEs

Qualifications and Requirements
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Portfolio Management (APM) Implementation Specialist OR
- Certified Enterprise Architecture (EA) Implementation Delivery Accreditation
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
Key competencies
- 8-10 Years total experience in IT Related fields
- Experience working in ServiceNow platform as an Admin & Developer
- Experience in development of service catalogs, implementing ACLs, transform maps, Flows via flow designer, client scripts, CMDB health metrics, bubble charts configuration
- Configuring Assessments, Demands, Business Capability Maps, Information Objects.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow administration experience in the following areas: Service Catalog, CMDB & Discovery, Service Portal, Workflows, Dashboards, REST APIs, Software Asset Management
- Prior extensive working experience on ServiceNow APM module
- Familiar with ServiceNow Agentic AI

- Ability to adapt quickly to learn new tools, new technologies, and current industry standards
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work in global distributed setting without supervision
- Self-driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking
- Intermediate knowledge of development languages: XML, HTML, CSS, Java, and Java Script
- Certified Scrum Master would be added advantage.
- Integrated GenAI into business applications to automate repetitive tasks, improve customer engagement, and drive innovation.
- Familiar with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and ethical considerations in deploying GenAI solutions at scale.
