Senior Permitting Engineer
The Senior Permitting Engineer is responsible for planning and managing permitting activities related to deployment of Neolith Energy’s novel Lithium Extraction process. Through management of contractors and collaboration with state and federal agencies, the Senior Permitting Engineer will be accountable for successful navigation of the NEPA process for projects on federal lands in addition to required state and local permitting. Examples include Water Pollution Control Permits, Underground Injection Permits, and Air Quality Permits.
Strong understanding and experience in permitting large industrial projects on federal lands in the state of Nevada is highly desirable. The Senior Permitting Engineer will develop an efficient and cost-effective permitting strategy for projects and put together a plan to execute that strategy. They will be expected to stay abreast of regulatory changes that may affect permitting objectives.
