Computer Science/Software Intern – Database evaluation for a drilling acquisition system (6 months)

One main digital project is moving to change its database. The project is a real time acquisition system that stores high volume and high frequency data. The aim of the creation of a cross-platform data access library (built upon an appropriate database) that supports moderately high-volume indexed data capable of running on edge-device hardware with a minimal memory and cpu footprint.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
The intern will be in project core team located in Clamart. The project is cross Schlumberger centers and the intern will have meetings with colleagues in Houston.
