Communications Lead

The Communications Lead will report to the Performance Management (PM) Communications and Engagement Manager, with main responsibility of planning and executing communication and engagement initiatives for a specific function within PM. This includes writing and editing content for use in campaign in internal channels. Campaigns will be planned and created based on engagement with relevant stakeholders and aligned with overall PM initiatives and KPOs.
The Communications Lead also take on special projects when needed which support the overall PM communications team.
The Communication Lead will ensure that content planned and produced from PM is up the Schlumberger standards and in line with the Schlumberger Communications Handbook and other guiding principles.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare communications campaigns aligned with function and PM strategy and KPOs
  • Webinar planning and execution
  • Email send-outs to relevant audience groups
  • Intranet articles
  • Video planning, shoot, project lead through editing to final product is approved by stakeholders
  • General function specific communication (day-to-day)
  • Monthly webcasts
  • Newsletters
  • Project updates
  • Annual planning/kick-off meetings
  • Idea creating for new content, campaigns, and how to improve content in already existing channels
  • Content management of function specific channels, such as Sharepoint, Intranet pages, yammer groups
  • Other support for PM communications department (writing and editing for presentation, webcasts, special events, etc)
Additional Skills:
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural team
  • Service-minded and user centric mindset
  • Excellent proficiency of oral and written English
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of output Schlumberger-Private
  • Knowledge of digital communications best practices, tactics and related KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Notion of extended Microsoft apps (Sharepoint, PowerApps) and Adobe creative suite is a plus
