Job Description:  
We have increased activity and are looking to strengthen our team in SNTC, Digital & Integration. 

By joining our team, you will be embarking on a unique journey with the world's leading provider of technology to the global energy industry. 
 
This position will be based in our Geophysical Seismic Interpretation department in Stavanger, where our mission is to create best in class Seismic Interpretation software’s. This involves working with domain experts to formulate user stories and turning the user stories into efficient software. This requires teamwork, good communication skills and 3D graphics experience. On the technical side, we are looking for someone that can leverage level-of-detail techniques to efficiently enable visualization of large datasets

Qualifications and competencies: 

  • A bachelor, master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent  

  • Experience in one ore more graphics API’s like OpenGL, Vulkan or Direct3D 

  • Knowledge in the 3D graphics pipeline 

  • Good and effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken 

  • The ability to work independently, show initiative and manage your own work 

  • The ability to work well with other team members 

 

It is nice if you: 

  • Have passion for gaming and are an active user of GitHub 

  • Are proficient in a shader language 

  • Like to stay up to date on visualization 

  • Enjoy writing quality code in C# and/or C++ 

  • Have experience with Unity or other 3D game engines 

  • .... Like to enjoy a game of foosball after lunch
