Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • To design, engineer, propose, and provide project management for projects onshore or offshore for the petroleum industry and industrial or environmental projects. Projects executed must fully meet the company's and the clients' schedule, cost, safety and quality needs/ standards.
  • Direct the work of engineering support personnel in project related activities and monitor and interface with the fabrication shops ensuring work is completed to specified requirements.
  • Define and manage all aspects of the assigned project including design, drafting, procurement, fabrication, financial, schedules, specifications, and legal.
  • Manage engineering team to create the documentation and drawings required to execute the project.
  • Releasing major material purchase including contract development;
  • Managing subcontract execution and cost and revenue recognition;
  • Estimating durations, level resources, optimizing schedules and developing forecasts of future performance;
  • Identifying safety hazards and creating mitigation plans;
  • Working closely with customers to negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes;
  • Identifying root causes and prioritization and go-forward improvement plans; and conducting qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and developing mitigation/contingency plans;

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors in Engineering. A master or advanced degree preferred. -Professional Engineer (PE) Certificate preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
  • More than 5 yrs. of Project Management experience in design and application of oil and gas process equipment and systems related to petroleum, environmental or petrochemical industries.
  •  Supervisory experience in directing engineering personnel.
  •  Proven record of managing process systems projects with a budget of $50M and higher
  •  Extensive knowledge of Project sytsems: Primavera (P6), SAP, MOC, Risks Management and BI reporting tools.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
