The NPD Sourcing Specialist is responsible for ensuring items or services are purchased from specified and qualified suppliers and are delivered upon agreed terms and conditions, always seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time and cost. The NPD Sourcing Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures, respecting quantity, quality, and timing. This person ensures quality of services provided and contributes to improvement and knowledge management of purchasing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Launch NPD Sourcing Plan for Assigned NPD projects
  • Interface and collaborate with NPD Engineering and Project Management
  • Meet Commercialization Goals, Timelines and Budgets for Appropriate Handover
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with suppliers and Procurement specialist
  • Conduct Weekly Progress Meetings with Engineering Team
  • Conduct QBR’s with Engineering and Project Management
  • Support the user defining purchase requests when needed.
  • Define the correct buying channel for each purchased item based on technical requirement, price and lead time.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Category Sourcing Leader, Supplier Leader, Supplier Quality
  • Perform knowledge management.
  • Perform problem solving for noncomplex issues with operations users.
  • Trigger catalog and buying guide updates when required.
  • Propose documentation changes and process improvements when required.
  • Track deviations and raise nonconformances in QUEST.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Use all required procurement tools when required or mandated by process (Ariba, ASL, QUEST).

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • 2 to 3 years experience in procurement
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent
  • Systems: knowledge of SAP ,SAP Procurement, Sourcing & Planning modules & Ariba
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
