Job Title: HR Compliance Manager

Location: Pekanbaru

Job Description:

The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to national and regional employment legislation and internal policies.


  • Implement programs and processes to ensure compliance with employment legislation, immigration law and internal policies. Audit and advise Human Resources (HR) and line management on compliance issues.
  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes. Align Schlumberger policy with those changes and communicate these to management.
  • Provide training to management, HR and employees regarding employment law and Schlumberger policies and practices such as harassment prevention and complaint resolution.
  • Provide guidance to management and HR on investigating and resolving filed complaints. Participate on the investigating team and own the Functions Managed Allegations within the assigned location.
  • Act as the point of contact for external legal advisors and coordinate Schlumberger legal involvement in employment law suits.
  • Provide expert domain knowledge to assist in responding to questions and queries received through HR InTouch.
  • Help coach and develop new team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote privacy awareness, and oversee deployment of data protection requirements and the company's privacy strategy.


  • Having a minimum 8 years of experience in Industrial relations area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working in groups as well as independently.
