Schlumberger is the world’s leading oilfield services company, with around 85,000 employees representing 170 nationalities, in 120 countries. Working globally– sometimes in remote and challenging locations – we invent, design, engineer, manufacture, apply, and maintain state-of-the-art technology to help customers find and produce oil and gas safely.
Genvia is a Schlumberger joint venture (with CEA, Vinci, Vicat and Occitanie region) in Clean Hydrogen Technology. Genvia will scale up the next generation of electrolyzer technology with the deployment of a gigafactory.
SCOPE AND SUBJECT OF THE INTERNSHIP
The objective of this internship is to define a digital architecture and models to integrate three types of digital twins into Genvia Smart Factory platform: digital twins for manufactured products, manufacturing processes and manufacturing equipment. For each of these twins, you will then develop a prototype for a use case that demonstrates performance efficiency in manufacturing operations.
This is a highly visible project within the Montpellier Technology Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES
As part of Genvia Digital Manufacturing team, you will be based in and have the responsibilities to design and build the first digital twins for Genvia Smart Factory.
As a Software Engineer, you will work in an autonomous manner, supported by technical experts. You will visit the factory in Beziers once a week to learn about the manufacturing processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify candidates for digital twin applications.
