Internship – WEC Pressure jigs compliance to Standard 14 (5-6 months)

 

Location:

 

Clamart, France

 

Scope of the internship:

 

Enable safe use of pressure jigs while increase test capacity thanks to new design compliant with Regulatory High Pressure standards.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Gap analysis of existing pressure jigs in regards to Pressure standard (Std 14).
  • Evaluate redesign through FEA analysis with considerations to increase production/test capacity.
  • Create a mean to track jigs and associated calibrations and annual recertification.
  • Technical support, and production.
  • The student will learn on project management, communication and coordination across different functions including modelling & simulation team.

Skills required:

  • Fluent in French and English
  • FEA  academic exposure
  • Studying towards a Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • ANSYS Preferred, Other FEA software’s accepted
