The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Trade Control Compliance organization, Legal Counsel, General Counsel or Intellectual Property (IP) Counsel, among others, with general administrative and secretarial matters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Handle confidential secretarial and administrative assignments.
  • Type formal letters, interoffice correspondence and miscellaneous documents; compose correspondence as required.
  • Answer telephone and handle requests for information.
  • Maintain department records and files.
  • Keep managers and supervisors informed about meetings, appointments, report due dates and other deadlines.
  • Arrange travel schedules and reservations.
  • Maintain budget and cost spreadsheets.
  • Supervise and train others as needed.
  • Help develop training material and presentations.
  • Maintain records in patent database. Maintain records and contracts in database.
  • Assist the Trade Control Compliance Administrators with reporting to government agencies.
  • Maintain a database of licenses and reporting obligations.
  • Support the Trade Control Compliance Managers in the distribution of regulatory material.
 Qualifications and Experience:
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • 2 years in administrative or executive admin role.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
