SLB Cambridge Research (SCR) is part of SLB’s global network of research and engineering centres. SCR is a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment with state-of-the-art research and computing facilities. We work on applied research projects in the physical sciences to meet the current and future challenges of the industry.
Description & Scope:
We have an internship vacancy within the ‘New Energy Materials’ Program for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) for material characterization.
You will work on understanding the impact of different material properties on the process performance of sorbent materials.
Working alongside the scientists at SCR, you will develop proficiency in various characterization techniques such as SEM, BET, BTA, etc. You will also develop proficiency in data management and analysis skills in Python to analyze experimental data. The results of the internship will be shared with other scientists at the center through a written report and oral presentation.
