Import - Export Specialist Intern

The Import - Export Specialist Intern supports import/export process efficiency and ensures that the movement of goods in and out is done in compliance with customs regulations while aiming to improve on-time delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Review import and export documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments
• Track accuracy of documentation and verify compliance
• Update import and export systems as needed or locally defined in the assigned country
• Liaise with customs and local authorities for daily operational issues.
• Ensuring all import and export duty tariff codes are correctly applied to incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Support compliance with customs requirements
• Support regulatory self-audits for compliance to the latest customs regulations
• Keep customs documents in proper filing, maintenance and retention systems
• Build customs knowledge for local organizations in the country.

Exposures & Experiences

• Recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Procurement or Business Administration
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Knowledge of logistics rules, regulations and processes
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic industry

Tax Accountant Intern

The Tax Accountant intern is responsible for supporting the accounting process related to statutory regulations in the country of operation.

Responsibilities

• Support with tax compliance including but not limited to Personal Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax etc
• Support the processing of tax payments and other levies
• Support the generation of withholding tax receipts
• Support with tax audit queries
• Support the dispatch of tax information to tax authorities
• Support with queries related to statutory audits

Experience & Exposures:

• Recent graduate in an accounting / finance related discipline
• Candidate should have good written and spoken English
• Candidate should be proficient in the use of Microsoft office
• Candidate should be adaptable and self-driven
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
