Job Description

The Drilling Engineer is responsible for the effective design and implementation of well plans. The Drilling Engineer performs engineering duties as required to provide drilling operations with drilling plans, conceptual design, detail design and work programs for prospective oil and gas wells. The Drilling Engineer supports the Service Delivery and Sales process with technical expertise.

Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well both independently and in a team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Design and optimize drilling programs for onshore and offshore wells.

·       Monitor real-time drilling operations and provide technical support.

·       Analyze drilling performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.

·       Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·       Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in directional drilling/drilling engineering.

·       Proficiency in well planning software and real-time data analysis is a plus.

·       Good understanding of Well Construction operations.

·       Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·       Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.
