Description & Scope

We’re looking for a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Intern to support D&I activities, and to help ensure consistency in our actions across our range of programs and initiatives.
You’ll be:
- Open-minded, curious, and interested in organizational culture change.
- Humble enough to know when you don’t know, but confident to call out when you recognize bias.
- Interested in working with people from 170 nationalities and many different backgrounds.
- Upbeat and creative. You’ll be able to independently lead your projects and prioritize your work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Working for 6-12 months, starting Q2 2025. The position reports to the Diversity and Inclusion Communications Manager.
- Based at our Crawley office but will benefit from some hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Designs and edits media projects for both internal and external audiences.
- Liaises with internal experts and contractors to develop content and support materials such as articles, blogs, podcasts, web content, and videos.
- Curates and adapts editorial content for a variety of internal and external platforms.
- Helps to create social content.
- Researches and helps to develop and implement communication strategies.
- Participates in high-visibility projects under the guidance of experienced company personnel.
- Presents a professional attitude, while balancing multiple-stakeholder requirements.
- Builds professional relationships globally.
- Acquires basic knowledge of the energy industry.
- Creates reports and analytics.
Qualifications
- Studying an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, HR, or related course, expecting at least a 2:1 grade.
- You will have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, and XL
