Local Content Intern
The Local Content Intern will support the delivery of the Company’s local content and regulatory compliance activities by assisting with data collection, reporting, documentation, and coordination of key stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
The role provides practical exposure to workforce localization, supplier/community impact tracking, and compliance reporting within the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Company’s local content plan by assisting with tracking initiatives, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business priorities.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with local content legislation, workforce requirements, and regulatory commitments, including periodic reporting obligations.
- Support the preparation of regulatory submissions by compiling required data, validating documentation, and maintaining organized records.
- Support coordination of community/social investment activities by maintaining project documentation, trackers, and communications materials.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities with relevant authorities by coordinating meeting logistics, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Assist with creation of presentations, charts, and executive-ready summaries for periodic reviews.
Experiences and Exposures:
- Recently completed a bachelor’s degree in law, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related course of study.
- Strong interest in local content, regulatory compliance, workforce localization, sustainability/community programs in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to contribute to a team environment.
- Fluency in English required
