Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Data and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Libya. The role focuses on two main areas: managing and transforming data from multiple sources into structured formats for analysis, and designing, supporting, and maintaining cloud computing environments. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, data infrastructure, and digital solutions in a professional engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management:
Organize, collect, process, and store data from different sources
Transform raw, unstructured data into usable formats for analysis
Perform data mapping and quality control across multiple data sources
Assemble large, complex datasets meeting functional and non-functional requirements
Support data loading, migration, and retrieval tasks
Advise on data governance, policies, roles, and dataflow
Work with stakeholders to resolve data-related technical issues
Infrastructure & Cloud Support:
Design, plan, maintain, and support cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure digital applications run efficiently on cloud infrastructure
Deploy applications using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Maintain existing databases (SQL, NoSQL) and related data stores
Use APIs, web services, REST/RPC, and JSON/XML integration as needed
Operate, design, develop, test, and implement infrastructure systems with automation in mind
Install and configure IoT solutions, network setup, and SDK implementations
Participate in out-of-office on-call rotation as required
Technical Analysis & Documentation:
Assess company data and infrastructure environments, providing improvement recommendations
Estimate project value from an infrastructure perspective and liaise closely with customers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all activities
Gather experience working with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, and Schlumberger EDM and OSDU workflows

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database management (SQL, NoSQL)
Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux/UNIX environments
Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Motivation to learn and grow in data and infrastructure engineering
