Wellsite Supervisor Trainee

Job Summary
The Wellsite Supervisor Trainee assists and supports Field Engineers, Field Specialists, and Wellsite Supervisors at the wellsite, learning through hands-on training to achieve the minimum level of proficiency. This role provides exposure to oilfield operations, wellsite tasks, equipment, specific tools/services, and the Schlumberger culture. The trainee undergoes structured training to gain autonomy in delivering high-quality services to clients and applying business systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with technical support for basic downhole and surface equipment.
Become familiar with comprehensive oversight of risk management, adhering to the Zero Tolerance Rule Application.
Support Wellsite Customer / Drilling Contractor Engagement.
Assist with maintenance of basic equipment and tools.
Complete equipment calibration and wellsite integrity checks.
Ensure equipment compliance according to logging programs.
Prepare and validate orchestration programs / automated workflows.
Condition equipment and logging tools for agreed acquisition programs.
Provide Hardware LQC and troubleshooting as required.
Participate in all job reviews and debriefs.
Capture field data in the appropriate business system.
Manage deviations from job programs through proper Management of Change.
Manage and escalate service quality incidents.
Complete job packages and job closure.
Report HSE/SQ events and participate in investigations and closures.

Qualifications & Experience
Licence or Technician degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
Basic understanding of wellsite operations, equipment, and oilfield safety practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in field-based operational environments.
Motivation to learn and grow in wellsite supervision and field operations.
