Maintenance

The CMMS intern supports the CMMS Clerk who is responsible for completing accurate and timely entry of data. The CMMS Clerk supports maintenance operations by performing systems transactions as specified by the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Business Systems Administrator.

  • Support to ensure business systems, especially the CMMS, are properly maintained and downtime is restricted to events related to system upgrades and maintenance as required by the Global Business System team.
  • Support and develop an understanding for all technical issues or troubleshooting related to TLM maintenance related business systems, in particular the CMMS.
  • Participate on findings review, sharing knowledge to facilitate smooth processes.
  • Support to ensure TLM personnel are aware of changes or upgrades to business systems and how these changes can impact their jobs.
  • Support and monitor accuracy, completeness and timeliness of critical business system transactions.
  • Follow prescribed internship guidelines for the role. The internship will enable the candidate and SLB to determine if these requirements are met before the possibility of committing to a full-time job.
  • Recent graduate of a Vocational Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management or Enginering or a related field of study.
  • Preferred if with system aptitude for maintenance platforms such as Maximo or SAP.
  • Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and capabilities
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Good problem-solving abilities, proactive, fast learner, good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong adaptability to different systems and tools, good data analytics skills. Attention to detail, and the ability to work with a certain level of autonomy/ learning agility will be important to support the role effectively.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
