What You Will Do:
Attend to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and oversee equipment improvements and time critical repairs; maintain preventative maintenance and breakdown report and part usage records; investigate the root cause and recommend course of action.
Assists shop on problem identification, trouble shooting and equipment issue resolution and repair. Evaluate non-conforming products to determine appropriate requirements to rework, repair, or scrap items.
Oversee spare parts inventory and may use a computerized maintenance management system.
Coordinate and direct contractors for specialized repairs and installations; maintain good working relations with internal customers and contractors.
Maintain toolkit, supplies, and requisite tool inventory.
Conduct facility and equipment inspections as a part of the Emergency Response Procedures.
Lead and implement Lean 5S + 1 project as a role model.
Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Utilize hand or power tools and heavy equipment, such as, forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe, reliable manner.
Assist with inventory counts of current stock levels to identify potential shortages or excesses.
Complete inspections, repair of parts and routine maintenance on capillary trailers.
Deliver parts to technicians on job sites.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
2 years of mechanical shop experience
Valid drivers license
This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Read, understand and speak English
Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required

Hazards include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals
Atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin may include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids
