Driver Supervisor

Location: Odessa - United States

The Driver Supervisor manages a team of drivers in their assigned division. Successful candidates are those having the ability to demonstrate principled leadership with sound business ethics and consistency with principles, values, and behavior.

He/she reports to Division Trucking Manager. Drivers report to this position.

Main Responsibilities

  • First responders at wellsite/yard for any CSML/ near miss event
  • Maintain competency matrix for drivers
    • Maintain driver info in dispatch software
  • Responsible for driver for maintaining and enforcing driver schedules
    • Maintain driver vacation details - input in dispatch software
  • Ensure driver availability and help track drivers - contingency planning
  • Provide mentor training to drivers as required
  • Monitor driver and asset utilization and provide weekly updates to division trucking manager
  • Work on ensuring assets availability and readiness
    • Verification of STEM I and pre-trip on units
  • Promote safety and enforce company policies at all times
  • Ensure all incidents are recorded and documented
  • To help investigate any CMSL event related to transportation department in conjecture with HSE Manager

Previous Experience and Competencies:

  • Bachelor in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation, or
  • Preferred minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation
  • Excellent understanding of transportation industry
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
