As a Cloud Software Engineer Intern, you will work in an autonomous squad with domain, cloud security and software engineer experts to propose services to migrate the deployment of a Schlumberger Cloud application from Google Cloud to Microsoft Azure.
Starting from our existing deployment on Google Cloud Platform, your role will be to explore, analyse, elaborate on, define and implement solutions allowing a port to Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Once validated by architects and Site Reliability Engineers, you will participate to the implementation of this solution in the framework of an existing Schlumberger Cloud application. This implies introducing services in operation and supporting migration to the proposed solution.
These activities will be performed following LEAN/Agile/DevOps methodologies including continuous integration, deployment, automatic tests and team ceremonies.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Azure frameworks
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
Notion of security and data management in the cloud
Knowledge of the general architecture and deployment of cloud applications
Knowledge of Python
Strong problem-solving skills and technical judgment
Very good English communication skills
Passionate in programming and learning new programming skills
