Schlumberger has an opening in Bogotá, Colombia for an Enterprise Applications Integration Developer. Develop new integrations or enhance existing integrations while adhering to a defined framework and governance model. Performs activities of ETL development, unit testing, deployment and short-term warranty support. The role demands to lead by example by demonstrating a positive attitude and team focus. Expectation is - the person could learn different technologies [e.g. Apigee, TIBCO etc.] to grow and support other ongoing activities and shares knowledge & expertise with team.

  • Assess functional and non-functional requirements and create integration designs to meet both business and technical needs
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain integration solutions and process flows using technologies like TIBCO BW 5.1x or 6.x, ETL tools like Informatica, Databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre SQL, Non relation databases like Elastic Search, etc.
  • Developing batch and real-time messaging services in TIBCO BW 5.1x or 6.x. o
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) & REST services.
  • Extensive knowledge and background in XML & JSON.
  • Contribute to the technical design of ETL and other Integrations with the technical architect
  • Responsible for developing ETL and other integrations according to the technical design of the solution in adherence to development standards and process including unit testing, regression testing, performance testing, code review, etc.
  • Implementation of Oracle DDL / DML and performance tuning strategies
  • Deploy data integration
  • Development and deployment of Database SQL (DML & DDL), PL/SQL, packages, stored procedures, triggers
  • Ensure security, lineage and metadata are enforced and captured in the developed code
  • Performance tuning, query plan / explain plan analysis, indexing, table partitioning
  • Development and implementation of Unix scripts for loading and transformation processes
  • Unit Test case preparation and unit testing. Bug fixing and re-testing.
  • Provide 24 x 7 support of all production ETL Jobs and perform ETL process monitoring as required.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic activities for ETL and Database technologies
  • Works with the Tech Lead to manage the technical implementation of the solution.
  • Under the guidance of the Tech Lead, works with other team members to deliver projects and support releases.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, M.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related
  • Excellent English language capabilities
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with the Informatica PowerCenter. Good to have knowledge in other Informatica Tools (Developer tool sets, Informatica Metadata management, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Big data modules).
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with the RDBMS and Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Exposure to data strategy, data profiling, transformation reusability, data security,
  • Enterprise Test Data Management, Enterprise Data Archiving, enterprise cloud integration
  • Must have 2 Years DB SQL experience
  • Must have 1-2 Years UNIX command / scripting experience
  • Strong performance tuning experience
  • Good to have 1-year Informatica Power Exchange work experience.
  • Experience in implementation of ETL using ERP as source systems using SAP technology
  • Candidates must be located and legally authorized to work in Colombia
