Production Technology Specialist

The Production Technology Specialist is responsible for the sales, service, delivery and technical support to clients in assigned geographical area and territory. He/She reports to the Field Service Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Complies with all company and regulatory Quality, HSE and IT standards and policies.
  • Takes proactive measures to eliminate safety hazards by performing appropriate Risk Analysis on technical programs.
  • Actively participates in daily customer safety and service quality meetings for current projects.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.
  • Responsible to maintain chemical inventory in assigned field locations.
  • Maintain daily injection rates for chemical injection on all assigned wells.
  • Utilizing ChemWatcher to optimize product usage and inventory.
  • If a remote monitoring system is not available use other inventory tracking methods.
  • Reports daily all issues, incidents, and work completed to Account Manager.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and upselling for the geographic area.
  • Pull monthly and quarterly samples for all KPI requirements.
  • Proactively identify failure points in the client’s applications.
  • Works with Client Field personnel and Account Manager to gather information needed for solutions to field problems involving chemical injection.
  • Maintain cleanliness, labeling, proper management of field pumps and tanks.
  • Visit workover rigs when rods, pumps, and tubing are pulled from the well as needed.
  • Attends weekly internal safety meeting and customer specific safety meeting, training and stand downs.
  • Ensure all safety certifications are active and up to date.
  • Ensure all monthly safety reporting objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Perform tailgate testing on solids, BS&W grind outs and demulsification in oil systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
