This role is working for our Cameron Services team which is part of the Schlumberger production group. Cameron is one of the most respected names in the valve business and has the largest global service network for oil and gas valves.

What you will be doing

You will be part of the Cameron Operations team ensuring customer valves and equipment is serviced, maintained, repaired and tested in line with product specifications and the maintenance schedule. In addition, you will be promoting best fitting and testing practice to ensure a safe working environment. As a Team Leader you will be mentoring and developing the careers of the workshop technicians.

  • Lead valve and actuator service/repairs/maintenance activities in the workshop
  • Lead hydrostatic, pneumatic, function testing and certification for Valves, actuators and vessels.
  • Maintain fleet of hydraulic and pneumatic and other equipment including flange facers and hydraulic torque and tension equipment
  • Assist in the management, planning, resourcing and scheduling of production work within workshop area
  • Lead, promote and actively contribute to Safety and Quality improvement.
  • Assist in the professional development of the workshop technicians
  • Oversee individual projects and production work to ensure product delivery times and quality assurance parameters are achieved.
  • Assist and actively participate in maintaining Company accreditation of AS4801, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025

About you

  • Reside locally in Darwin or ability to relocate
  • Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Hold a Mechanical Trade certificate or equivalent Diploma
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience as fitter machinist (or in the mechanical industry)
  • Prior experience in a supervisor or team leader role
  • Experience within Oil & Gas Industry
