Job Summary:

  • Responsible for conducting QA/QC activities such as receiving inspections, in-process inspection and final inspection following established procedures and specifications
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting nonconforming conditions
  • Responsible to perform QA/AC related SAP transactions
  • Reviewing and revising Cameron Brunei Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, work instructions or forms/checklist.
  • Assisting Quality Supervisor with QA activities, such as conducting quality tests, performing inspection/process checks and communicating test results.
  • Reviewing reports and certificate of conformance (COC) received from 3rd party Vendor or Cameron Intercompany Manufacturing facilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform QA/QC related SAP transactions, such as BOM, Quality Plan, MS/Hardness, Result Recording, Usage Decision, PTS, QM Lot and NCR
  • Able to perform visual and dimensional inspections, following established procedures and specifications
  • Correctly use appropriate inspection and measuring instruments
  • Able to interpret, evaluate and record the results of inspection
  • Assist Supervisor on Corrective and Preventive action report closure
  • Gather Inspection/test reports and prepare Material record book (ie Repair/Remanufacture and New Manufacture scope).
  • Capable of identifying and reporting nonconforming conditions
  • Maintain QC backlog to minimum, as agreed with Supervisor
  • Work with supervisor and colleagues to resolve quality issues to meet customer requirements
  • Work with supervisor and colleagues to improve inspection procedures, work methods and system
  • Must understand traceability (product, material, and calibration)
  • Maintain good housekeeping, safe working habits, and work with minimum supervision
  • Commitment towards completing assigned work, better attitude towards fellow employees, and improve communication
  • Monitor the attendance of the QC Inspector and Lead
  • Monitoring and managing discipline and work performance of inspector to company policy.

Requirements:

  • Willing to be based in Kuala Belait, Brunei.
  • Minimum degree in any field of engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years in the Oil and Gas Industry or relevant.
  • Proficient in English and Malay spoken and written language.
