This role is working for our Cameron Services team which is part of the Schlumberger production group. Cameron is one of the most respected names in the valve business and has the largest global service network for oil and gas valves.

What you will be doing

You will be part of the Cameron’s Operation team managing the general running of the facility in Darwin. You will have leadership of the team to deliver high quality repairs, service and maintenance of customer valves, actuators and related oil and gas products.

  • Manage base operations in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure services are delivered right first time, on time, every time.
  • Plan, quote and deliver work scopes in accordance with customer, contract and company needs
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships to help grow the business
  • Lead the valve services team promoting sound fitting, machining and testing practices
  • Maintain facility equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Develop, coach and train employees to enable them to reach their full potential
  • Coordinate and work with support functions (Engineering, HR, Quality, HSE, Supply Chain etc)
  • Plan and forecast revenue and resource needs
  • Maintain facility quality and safety management system accreditations

About you

  • Reside locally in Darwin – potential for relocation
  • Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification, or Certificate or Diploma in Business Management/Project Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working at a supervisory or management level
  • Experience in planning, forecasting and resourcing a workshop
  • Oil and gas, valve and process systems experience preferred
