Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning the project to deliver according to schedule, scope, budget, and quality expected. Always ensuring that the project plan meets all contractual requirements. This person will be assigned by the performing organization to lead the team for achieving the project goals and objective.  The Project Manager monitors and control the progress of the project while keeping relevant stakeholders informed and ensures risk and QHSE concerns are mitigated by the project plan.

  Roles and Responsibilities

  • Acts as the project single point-of-contact for all stakeholders.
  • Engages with the customer to understand high-level goals, business plans, and objectives related to the project.
  • Defines resource plans for assets, products, and workforce.
  • Defines risks, risk mitigation measures, and risk responses for the project.
  • Captures project improvements and optimization opportunities such as lessons learned and best practices.
  • Supports the management and execution team in all phases of the project with technical reviews, integrity management, service deliverables, and receivable

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Geology or Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Energy or Oil & Gas industries
  • Strong experience in project management for critical and complex environments
  • Experience managing team with more than 10 people
  • PMP Certification or other industry recognized certification
  • MBA in Project Management will be considered
  • Willing to work in Brazil (remote or hybrid model)
  • Nice to have experience in CCS (Carbon Capture and Sequestration) project implementation, or another storage project
  • Knowledge about of CARB (California Air Resources Board) CCS certification process will be considered

Soft Skills

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in Portuguese and English, with the ability to produce clear and concise technical reports and documents
  • Ability to manage a big team and integrate the tasks
  • Ability to work in projects focused on deliverables
  • strong problem solving and inter-personal skills, working closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clients
