Job Description

You will be working with people collocated in Montpellier Technology Center and collaborate with teams in other Schlumberger locations across the world. Most communication will be in English.

As part of the local cyber security team, you will work closely with the local software development teams to implement adequate security as well as collaborate with the Schlumberger global cybersecurity community to maintaining efficient process, compliance, practices and tooling.

 

This will

  • Bring expert security competency as part of the design of software solutions from requirements to deployment
  • Maintain the security SAST and DAST CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform targeted DAST and Pen testing
  • Contribute to design and practices standards
  • Contribute to observability improvements and incident response

 

We follow the industry trend of shifting left, making sure we continually help the development teams grow their cyber security competency. This will require continuous understanding of the development team needs and constraints to establish a strategy as well as adequate communication to bring awareness and share relevant knowledge.

 

Special Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Good understanding of system architecture, TCP/IP Networking, DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience of using and customizing SAST/DAST/Penetration testing
  • Knowledge of Secured Programming in high level languages like C#, Python or/and Node.js.
  • Knowledge of OWASP best practices and guidelines, Threat Modelling, Network Security and Encryption.
  • Knowledge of security monitoring, threat detection and incident response handling.  
  • Experienced in working with Cloud Environment (Azure/Google preferred)
  • Communication in English
  • Cybersecurity certification desired
  • Trust for learning and grow

 

Experience: 2 – 5 years of relevant experience.

 

 

Supervision: Project Manager / Cybersecurity Architect
