About Schlumberger:

We are Schlumberger, the leading provider of technology and services to the energy industry. Throughout much of the oil and gas lifecycle in over 120 countries; we design, develop, and deliver technology and services that transforms how work is done.

We define the boundaries of the industry by unleashing our talented people’s energy. We’re looking for innovators to join our diverse community of colleagues and develop new solutions and push the limits of what’s possible. If you share our passion for discovery and want to find out what you could really do, then here is the place to do it.

Job Summary:

Schlumberger software engineers develop the DELFI cognitive E&P environment that brings together advances in technical disciplines such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and automation—underpinned by decades of unrivaled domain knowledge.

The DELFI environment defines a new standard in cross-discipline collaboration. For the first time in one place, users can see and understand the connections and dynamic effects from exploration to abandonment. More than individuals collaborating, the DELFI environment is everything working together continuously: teams, systems, software, legacy data, and live inputs—all feeding into a unified environment that grows to become greater than the sum of its parts.

The environment amplifies the individual capabilities and expertise of people working at each stage of the hydrocarbon life cycle. At its heart, the DELFI environment utilizes powerful software built on deep science to automate and accelerate complex functions such as modeling, simulation, analysis, and forecasting.

Many of the software tools and workflows we develop for the Oil and Gas business are now increasingly used in energy transition applications, for example Carbon sequestration and storage (CCS) and offshore wind. Join the journey!
