Mission
The HR Operations Analyst (HROA) is responsible for the administration of all HR actions using established procedures and guidelines. This may include HR data reporting and maintenance in SAP. The HROA acts as a first point of contact for employees and HR staff, they provide support to queries regarding, but not limited to administration of compensation, benefits, HR policies, procedures and HR Information Systems (HRIS). The HROA resolves requests per the established procedures and is responsible for providing accurate responses and timely turnaround for all queries. This person ensures all activities are performed in strict compliance to Schlumberger procedures, employment rules, manuals, policies and country legislation.
 
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the administration of HR actions using the global and Standard Work Instructions (SWI) documentation.
  • Performs Master Data actions and other associated transactions such as hiring, promotion, transfer, suspension, termination, payments, deductions, creation of vacation travel allowance, etc., as required.
  • Ensures all transactions are performed per ticket/workflow request within the established KPI.
  • Coordinate closely with Payroll Analysts to ensure employees’ data impacting Payroll is efficiently and accurately captured and maintained in payroll system within established deadlines.
  • Performs manual salary, bonus and time data adjustments updates on time with appropriate approvals when required.
  • Ensures that the transactions, exemptions and other supporting documentation comply with internal procedures and policies regarding the master data updates to the system before processing.
  • Performs data quality checks regularly to maintain data quality and integrity in the HR master database.
  • Receives employee queries via the applicable channels/portals (Email, web interface and telephone if implemented, etc.).
  • Identifies sensitive queries, emergencies or potential risk cases and address as per the Escalation Management process.
  • Performs User Acceptance Testing as per agreed timelines.
  • Categorizes, validates and monitors employee queries to closure per defined procedures.
  • Coordinates internally per defined procedures and uses HR knowledge management tools to respond with resolutions, quickly and accurately within the established service level agreements and KPIs.
  • Escalates to Payroll, Location, Regional, SL SMEs and other parties when required to resolve employees’ queries where applicable.
  • Ensures the employee is informed of the progress of the query until issue is resolved as per established KPIs.
  • Monitors KPIs and reviews employee feedback daily. Follows up with employees on the queries that were rated low.
  • Participates in the design and implementation of the solutions related to customer satisfaction and to meet the set targets.
  • Identifies knowledge gaps and contributes to the relevant knowledge base and work closely with knowledge management team on updating or retiring existing knowledge content as required.
  • Ensures that the proper documentation is e-filed where applicable for required actions in accordance with the prescribed rules and available for audit reference.
  • Participates in the design and implementation of the solutions related to customer satisfaction and to meet the set targets.
  • Identifies knowledge gaps and contributes to the relevant knowledge base and work closely with knowledge management team on updating or retiring existing knowledge content as required.
  • Ensures that the proper documentation is e-filed where applicable for required actions in accordance with the prescribed rules and available for audit reference.
  • Ensure escalation matrix is followed for any potential incidents and reports HR SQ events on QUEST-HR in compliance with Schlumberger standards.
  • Generates employment documents when applicable accurately and on time.
  • Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include potential automation/digital projects.
  • Ensures compliance with the Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Provides insight on employee particular queries’ content or trends and develop recommendations/action plans to improve overall employee support and satisfaction.
  • Supports and assists in audits of the HR master database. Coordinates with relevant parties to resolve existing discrepancies and prevent potential new ones.
  • Participates in/contributes to Service Delivery and Service Quality Meetings.
  • Conducts research, analyzes data, provides ad-hoc reports and presents feedback on assigned projects when required.
  • Participates in HR open houses.
Requirements
  • Professional degree in business administration, Industrial engineer or related fields.
  • 0 - 2 Years of experience in HR
  • Advanced English level.
