Scope:
The engineering Supervisor is responsible to guarantee the proper completion on time of the engineering activities of all Douglas Chero products. He/She will report directly to the Plant Manager and will manage 3 employees
Roles and Responsibilities:

Supervise, support and control the creation of the Bill of Materials

Supervise, support and control the design of the products (valves, strainers and steam traps)

Participation in the Contract Review

Validation of the calculations for product design
-
Design and documents update in the case of new projects and/or to be compliance with regulations

Problem solving of technical issues during the production phase

Supervision of the correct application of the procedures and documents that regulate the engineering processes
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
-
Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-
4/5 years of experience in engineering department of manufacturing plant (Oil & Gas)
-
Previous experience in valves manufacturing plant (preferable)
Competencies:
-
Knowledge of the mechanical characteristics and resistance of materials
-
Knowledge of the sizing product regulations of pressure products (API, ASME, etc.)

Use of Solid Edge
-
Use of MS Office
-
Valve design (preferable)
-
Fluency in English
