Job Summary:

The primary function of this role will be to support our diverse clientele to ensure efficient and effective phase separation of fluids whilst maintaining Flow Assurance.  This role will require the employee to conduct testing of various process fluids, interpret the results and make recommendations where required to ensure optimal performance of the products and equipment supplied whilst maintaining Efficient process operation and meeting Key Performance Indicators.

This role requires the personnel to be on call 24 x 7 x 365 and will be required to support both onshore and offshore operations both in Trinidad and the Caribbean.



Directly reports to the Production Chemicals Manager



Candidate’s duties may include the following:

  • Support Field Sampling of Fluids
  • Conduct Field and Laboratory Testing of Oil, Water and Gas Samples
  • Prepare Test Reports based on results from testing
  • Provide routine and ad hoc service support to clients
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance to chemical metering and transfer systems
  • Ability to Work 12 Hour Shift where required
  • Offshore and Overseas travel is required
  • Product Inventory Management - Maintain Raw Material and Finished Product Inventory
  • Chemical Handling – Required to Dispense, Transfer and Blend Chemicals
  • Working at Heights


Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Sciences or Engineering  (Chemistry, Physics, Environmental, Water and Wastewater, Chemical and Process, Industrial, Environmental, Mechanical, Instrumentation etc).
  • 1 + Years Oil Field Experience preferably in Production Operations
  • Experience working in a Process Environment
  • Experience in Field / Laboratory Testing of Oil, Water and Gas Samples
  • Environmental / Wastewater Treatment and Testing would be desirable
  • Calibrating Testing Equipment
  • Exceptional Oral and written communication skills will be an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Valid Driver’s License
