We are currently looking for recent graduates to join our team as Wellsite Supervisor Trainee.

The Wellsite Supervisor trainee assists and supports Field Engineers, Field Specialists and Wellsite Supervisors at the wellsite and learns through hands on training to achieve the minimum level of proficiency. They are expected to become familiar with the oilfield business in general, wellsite tasks, units and its basic equipment, specific tools/services and the Schlumberger culture. They go thru training to gain autonomy for delivering high quality services to clients at the wellsite and to gain autonomy for the application and utilization of the business systems. The Wellsite Supervisor trainee learns to provide technical support for basic downhole and surface equipment and furthermore becomes familiar with the comprehensive oversight of risk management. They are expected to ensure systematic usage of standard work and risk management and must adhere to the Zero Tolerance Rule Application. They assist with Wellsite Customer / Drilling Contractor Engagement and also assist the cell basic equipment/tools maintenance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Completes equipment calibration and wellsite integrity checks.
  • Ensures equipment compliance according to the logging programs.
  • Prepare and validate orchestration program / automated workflows.
  • Condition equipment / logging tools for agreed acquisition program.
  • Provides Hardware LQC and troubleshooting where required.
  • Participates in all Job reviews and job debriefs.
  • Captures data from the field in the business system.
  • Manages any deviation from the job program through proper Management of Change.
  • Manages and escalate service quality incidents.
  • Captures wellsite data in the appropriate Business system
  • Complete job package and job closure
  • HSE/SQ event reporting and participate in HSE/SQ event investigation and closure

Requirements:

  • No travel restrictions and/or able to self-relocate
  • Proven 2-3 years Technical Diploma Certificate in Engineering background is a must, with a focus on strong Mathematics and Physics results
  • 0-2 years’ experience in a similar field
  • Solid hands-on electronics or mechanical background essential
  • Able to follow directions and company policies including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards and procedures
  • Client, Service Quality and Performance focused
  • Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to use own initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and work effectively in teams
  • Follow procedures and understand engineering drawings with the ability to complete paperwork in a legible manner

Field Engineer Trainee

 

We are seeking for a motivated, organized, and methodical Field Engineer Trainee to join our Schlumberger team.

The Field Engineer Trainee is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The Field Engineer Trainee identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Execute service delivery to the customer.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Assist the Design/Technical Engineer with implementing technical programs and bids.
  • Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
  • Lead Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.
  • Provide backup to the Job Delivery Lead and PSD Managers in their absence.

Requirements:

·        Willing to travel to offshore/onshore locations for work.

  • Must have minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Maintenance Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Technician Trainees

 

Schlumberger is currently looking for Maintenance Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Technician Trainees – Recent Graduates to join our team.

It is to support our teams in the field ensuring the tools and services at the wellsite can perform in ever more complex, extreme environments.

 

The Maintenance Trainee responsible for following the trainee technical package to be able to minimize the mechanical and electrical failures in equipment, that may result in either lost time or poor-quality data by ensuring that their assigned equipment is maintained as per Product Line Standards and according to the latest specifications.

The person performs preventive maintenance and modifications under technical supervision according to defined schedules and aware of the potential risks associated with such maintenance and works in a safe, orderly and efficient manner.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all assigned equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
  • Responsible to improve asset availability by reducing the asset turnaround time through reduction of asset waiting for maintenance, Down for Parts/ Return Authorization Number, Down for Failure and Work-in-Process.
  • Execute Maintenance Strategy, compliant to Reliability Centered Maintenance strategy
  • Comply to Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards
  • Responsible to support Continuous Improvement culture, initiatives and execute remedial work plan within location
  • Responsible to implement reliability practices
  • Utilize maintenance business systems to reach full cost, time and equipment traceability for maintenance performance (movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain).
  • Comply with all Schlumberger and Product Line’s Service Quality, HSE and IT standards and policies
  • Follows fixed-step training program and ensures training is on schedule and accurately recorded

 

Qualifications:

  • Proof of 2-3 years Technical Diploma Certificate in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent diploma from recent year
  • 0-3 years’ experience in the same field
  • Solid hands on electronics and mechanical background essential coupled with strong analytical skills
  • Strong Math and Physics results
