Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Greater Houston, TX US. Hybrid

Description:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Rosharon Testing and Subsea Center (RTST). In this role, you will be the first in line of communication with customers and will be responsible for analyzing, providing and maintaining updated information.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative functions supporting customer service functions and sales order entries.
  • Coordinate orders and shipments between Manufacturing and customers.
  • Manages orders received from customers (entering, shipping, invoicing)
  • Interface with departments handling activities such as credit and collections, sales, shipping and purchasing to ensure effective and timely service to customer.
  • Manage requests from customers (expedites, cancellations, etc.) using service now- ESM platform
  • Provide monthly status of open orders and follow up with customers and Production.
  • Maintain record of asset delivery progress and invoicing.
  • Create and transfer birth records for assets sold to customers
  • Maintains monthly KPIs that track center objectives such as on time shipment, inventory levels.
  • Interact with Production, Buyer and Planner for follow-up of customer orders.
  • Resolve licensing issues received from customers and record in support database.
  • Maintain and improve the integrity of the data in the SAP database (Including due dates, lead time, pricing)
  • Maintains the catalog of parts available to purchase
  • Manages customs requirements for the different countries that we ship to
  • Active participate in Segment and Center meetings as required
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.


Experience and Exposure:

  • Bachelor's degree in BA or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, Oil and Gas company preferred
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel is required
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Industry experience with emphasis on production, planning, logistics, and customer service.
  • Dangerous Goods logistics and transportation certifications (CFR 49, IATA and IMDG) is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and de-escalate tense situations
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
