Marketing Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze and provide insights on business performance (bookings, sales and profit by difference lenses)
  • Lead and/or collaborate in the development of market analysis reports and dashboards, unifying methods of report delivery.
  • Ability to analyze data to support decision making, providing conclusions
  • Support the marketing analytics processes automation (market size, competitor tracking, sales analysis, etc)
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis support for Marketing Intelligence and Strategy teams related to Division markets as well as adjacent markets, as needed.
  • Create and maintain reporting processes to support internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and improve market size and share model for assigned product(s) group(s), using internal and external data resources.
  • Develop understanding of internal databases and data relationship
  • Aggregate large amounts of data, drawing meaningful conclusions
  • Ability to improve data gathering and analysis processes
  • Create and maintain documentation of data models and reports logic
  • Create and run dataflows, data cleansing, troubleshooting of data models by using data cleanse tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python, Excel, SQL, etc)
  • Create and maintain data visualization models (e.g. PowerBI)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field
  • Experience with relationship database management and data modeling (e.g. SQL)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience with data visualization tools and related services: MS-PowerBI, Power Query, PowerBI Services, Tableau, etc.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Willingness to learn, take on new initiatives and not required micro-managing
  • Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
  • Preferred skills:
    • Experience in marketing, operations, finance or strategy
    • Experience in energy industry
