Field Specialist Trainee

The Field Specialist Trainee is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD* to Customers. The Field Specialist Trainee identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver completions products to well site, inspecting to ensure products and assets are received in good condition
  • Perform on site services and installations of downhole tools and products
  • Liaise with client to ensure thorough understanding of products and services being delivered, including risks and mitigations.
  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Responsible for service delivery execution.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Minimum High School or GED
  • Capable of standing or sitting for long periods of time
  • Capable of working in outdoor conditions in all seasons
  • Technically proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Able to work day or night, and on weekends during their time on shift
  • Ability to travel occasionally for periods of up to 1 month to Utah and Wyoming
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects (`70 lbs) from the ground to chest level safely when required
  • Capable of ascending/descending stairs and ladders multiple times per shift
  • Computer literate and basic level of proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in English language with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must be able to work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
