Job title:

Wide band RF matching circuit design

Location:

Clamart, France

Scope of the internship:

  • The internship objective is to design a wide band low Q to drive a coil antenna to ensure optimal performance independent of the process variations and coil characteristics drift over time and use conditions.
  • The internship consists in:
  • Analyse the relation between the matching Q source and load impedances  
  • Evaluate the impact of multistage constant Q matching over the matching bandwidth
  • Design a wide band matching circuit, implement it on experimental board and validate the design through measurements
  • Define a toolbox to help applying the methodology to other cases. 

 

The intern acquires knowledge about practical matching design. RF design challenges, PWB design and assembly, RF measurements and design validation.

Responsibilities:

The intern will be responsible for:

  • Designing matching circuit through simulation
  • Design, make and assemble the designed matching PWB
  • Measure the assembled matching circuit and validate the designed matching
  • Design a toolbox for wideband matching based on Jupyterlab

Skills required:

  • Master of Engineering school
  • Autonomous and able to work in a team
  • Appreciate the culture of product delivering, curious to learn and ambitious.
