SLB is currently looking for Equipment Operators to join our Reservoir Performance Stimulation team.

The Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Equipment Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.

 

Responsibilities

Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time

Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members

Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.

Ensure individual and crew work safety

Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times

Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement

Wear PPE and observe HSE policies

Maintain the required safety training

 

Working hours: 

12hours/ day when work at the wellsite. 

Monday to Friday 07.30-16.00 when working at the base with weekend work when required.

 

Requirements:

Reside in Roma, QLD or able to relocate (relocation support provided)

Must have full right to live and work in Australia including offshore

No travel restrictions

Must possess a Heavy Vehicle Driver license (HC/ MC license)

Have related minimum certificates and experience working in the oilfield as an Oil and Gas Fracturing or Coiled Tubing Services Equipment Operator is mandatory to apply as an Experienced Equipment Operator, but not essential for the trainee position

Have a recent National Police Clearance with clean record

Must have mechanical and basic computer skills

Strong physical endurance

Minimum high school education or equivalent

Strong Commitment to QHSE

Ability to learn quickly and translate the learning into practical solutions

Excellent English communication skills written and verbal

Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator
