The SLB Lithium Business Line maximizes the value of mineral resources through an innovative, sustainable DLE (Direct Lithium Extraction) process that outputs battery-grade lithium material. Preserving the environment while guaranteeing best-in-class economical lithium recovery and refinement is key to sustainable and responsible lithium production.

The Business line Domain Champion is responsible for the global reach of a group of products and services and liaises with Line management, Supply Chain and Business Development Teams to lead Technical Sales and work with various Customers and Flow Sheet/EPC Contractors to maximize the utilization & sale of the assigned products and services in a customized business model. The Domain Champion advises on global product development prioritization and identifies opportunities for business growth and integrated solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze information concerning product sustaining, new product requirements and product ideas in compliance with the Product Development Process (PDP).
  • Collaborate with the GeoUnits, Business Line Marketing and product development teams in the PDP.
  • With Marketing, introduce new products and services, and lead Technical Sales with various stakeholders.
  • Advise line management to ensure resources commensurate with the market opportunity are put in place to maximize product or service revenues and profitability.
  • Help create and implement the marketing plan for the assigned product.
  • Serve as product expert for Sales and Commercial and Marketing on product-related matters.
  • Provide first-level support to the Sales force within all the domains of the assigned product as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, further education is a plus.
  • Previous experience & knowledge of DLE (Direct Lithium Extraction) Technologies is required.
  • Previous expertise and Knowledge of DLE process equipment, operation, and limitations.
  • Ability to showcase the other processes related to the brine-based lithium extraction industry including Solvent Extraction, Electrodialysis/Electrochemical, Membranes, Precipitation and Sorption.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Candidates must be able to work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
