About this role

 

The application developer will be in charge of our in-house developed web applications. The person will be responsible for maintaining the systems the applications run on, implementing new features, and handling L3 support issues. The person will work closely with other members of the Cyber Security Engineering team to develop and to improve workflow related to identity and access provisioning within the enterprise. The person will also support the team’s reporting needs not already addressed by the dedicated report team (IT Reporter). The candidate must be familiar with at least one programming language (Java strongly preferred) and with concepts of software engineering, web technologies, and information security. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Engineering and L3 operational support for our in-house developed web applications. Responsibilities include application development, bug fix, L3 support and system maintenance. The 3 web applications and portals are: 
  • SecureConnect (employee entitlement provisioning portal) 
  • Corporate Badge portal 
  • XCAP Portal (firewall request and application management portal) 
  • Secondary support for Corporate Badge. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements

 

Essential Qualifications

 

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 2-5 years’ experience in web application development. 
  • 2-5 years of IT Operations or relevant experience. 
  • Experience developing web application using at least one of these:Java EE, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, JSP & Servlet, MVC frameworks, ORM frameworks is required. 
  • Experience developing code using JQuery, HTML5, JSF, PrimeFaces, and Bootstrap is required.

  • Experience developing SharePoint 2010 workflows with SharePoint designer and InfoPath. 
  • Familiar and some knowledge of contactless smart cards, proximity cards and RFID technology.
