Sustainability Market Analyst

The Sustainability Market Analyst main goal is to help internal stakeholders speed up deployment of initiatives or impact plans and keep them ahead of the latest Sustainability macro trends, legislative shifts, and industry wide practices. To enable this impact, the incumbent will be responsible for driving stakeholders’ engagement on key topics of relevance, while creating strong links between the communities internally and externally (external consultancy, major economic partners, clients…) 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Nurture SLB’s leadership to champion on all sustainability grounds by sharing trends and insights that could turn into actionable initiatives internally and business impact. 
  • Help prioritize impact areas based on research insights and benchmarks. 
  • Mobilize partners in research and mobilize community networks to keep the organization up to speed with current affairs and future trends.  
  • Maintain and coordinate external ranking applications and responsible for SLB’s external sustainability ranking performance.  
  • Assists the ESG Performance director in delivering the yearly sustainability report.  

Qualifications and Experience:

  •  8-10 years of professional experience in both public and private sectors with expertise in the energy industry with a strong focus on sustainability.
  • Experience in research and analytics in worldwide social & economic trends with focus on sustainability.
  • Demonstrated ability to building strong relationships with industry leaders and other stakeholders within complex organizations and multi-cultural environments.
  • Ability to work across institutional boundaries.  
  • Proven track-record in developing and nurturing new partnerships 
  • Strong and proven analytical ability  
  • Experience in community building 
  • Proven agility, with a strong orientation for delivering results while embracing change 
  • Outstanding communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English 
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
