The Sales Account Manager (reporting to the Sales Lead of Central and Eastern Europe) is responsible for growing market share and revenue with assigned accounts. This person is also responsible for establishing and building relationships with assigned customers, promoting the sale of BL products and services to assigned accounts, and utilizing field background expertise to match customer need with applicable solution. The Sales Account Manager optimizes sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans and communicates customer activity and sales opportunities through effective use of sales business systems/processes.
Required Profile

You have completed a technical degree at master’s level in the field of Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or have a comparable education
-
You have 3+ years of professional experience in Sales Account Management or Technical Sales
-
You have 5+ years in a technical position with a good knowledge of the Production/Flow Assurance.

On the technical side,

You understand the full E&P lifecycle and have a solid knowledge on smart production operations, management and monitoring, asset optimization, both for oil and gas and CCS.

You have an excellent understanding of the Italian energy market and understand the full value chain

On the sales account management side,

You have the right balance between a hunter and a farmer

You are an objective driven professional with excellent communication skill both in English and Italian (mandatory)

You are a proactive, creative, and active lister with a good business acumen and a focus on customer centricity

You understand the overall B2B sales process

You can apply the SPIN Sales Methodology and conduct consultative and value selling

You are familiar with standard sales systems like CRM, C4C or Microsoft Dynamic
Main Responsibilities in the assigned territory:

Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plans for the promotion of existing services and products and the introduction of new services and products.

Identify, Capture and Qualify leads as opportunities

Develop Opportunity Assessment and Engagement Plan at a territory and account level

Build, Review and Execute Opportunity Pipeline

Meet Sales Targets for the assigned territory

Monitor Sales Results Versus Sales Target on a weekly basis

Develop Tender/Proposal Strategy

Conduct HQ and GeoUnit Reviews of Key Tender/Proposals
-
Develop Account / Location Sales Plans and Targets
-
Plan Cross-Sell and Sell-Up

Prepare and negotiate Sales Quotes

Collect Market Activity Intelligence and Market Share

Collect Market Size Intelligence
-
Review Tender/Proposal Clarifications
-
Provide support for receivables management and assist on the resolution of billing disputes

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive products and services
