About the Bogota Information Technology Center (BITC)

About this role 


  • The Demand Lead is responsible for Demand fulfillment for assigned IT Pillar/Pillars, Monitor Vendor Performance, review IT resource onboarding process.
  • Receive the demand from IT Pillar. Identify contracted Suppliers for the skill & Release demand.
  • Co-ordinate resource assessment and finalize the resource with Managers.
  • Contract onboarding of demand through WO
  • Monitor fulfilment KPIs.




  • Validate & roll out demands of IT pillars to preferred suppliers in line with IT strategy. Ensure Budget is approved for the demand. Keep the VMO Demand Tool updated with details such as Names of suppliers contacted, Dates of Demand Rollouts, Names of selected resources. Request Vendor to prepare draft Work Orders, change requests as may be needed.
  • Create Ariba contract request to trigger support from Contracts Analyst. Review Commercials in WO/SOW and Submit FAR request for Budget approval.
  • Monitor and follow up on the contracting process until execution by authorized signatory. Upload fully executed WO/SOW on VMO contracts SharePoint. Review and confirm milestone delivery with IT stakeholders,
  • Share the confirmation on milestone delivery with purchasing specialist for Goods reception.
  • Monitor time taken by suppliers for Demand fulfillment. Dates of demand roll out versus Dates of resource selection should be recorded in VMO Demand Tool. Generate Supplier Performance reports on periodic basis; by comparing defined KPIs on Demand fulfillment versus actual performance. Monitor Supplier Performance for other KPIs as needed. Conduct Periodic Performance Reviews on need basis.
