Description of Activity

Muzic is downhole acoustic telemetry tool. It's a battery powered system using a highly unconventional communication channel for long distance communication between downhole and surface. It is used to retrieve data from sensors and to remotely control downhole tools located in the bottom of the well.

Its recent success has opened opportunities for the development of new telemetries and features. Moreover, other projects are now taking advantage of this system and should be interfaced to Muzic Software.

Software team has the responsibility of Muzic Software (MAC) development and sustaining. To do so Engineers are in contact with Embedded software engineers of Muzic tools, with InTouch, Field Test Coordinator of Muzic and eventually directly with Field Engineers

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain Software architecture in link with Muzic requirements.
  • Create task and specifications to implement new requirements.
  • Deliver code and tests (test plan and unit tests).
  • Participate to tests.
  • Answer to bug tickets and expertise request from InTouch.
  • Reference all this work in our management systems.

 

Qualifications

  • MoS in engineering
  • Senior Software Engineer (5+ year in software development)

  • C++, C# .NET, WPF, XAML
  • Pattern MVVM
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Unit testing
  • Agile process (SCRUM/Kanban)
  • SCM (Git)
  • Continuous Integration
  • VSTS knowledge is a plus (project management, tests, build)
