1. ROLE

The Mechanical CAD Designer (MCAD) is responsible for preparing and maintaining engineering or sustaining design layouts, production drawings and other related documentation, considering methods if manufacture and tolerance and their effect on related parts and assemblies. Part of the engineering team and with the support of other team members, the MCAD will develop the product file with all the information required for manufacturing; he or she will ensure that all the industry norms and standards are considered (ex: ISO2768, ISO 1101, ISO1302, etc.) and the SLB internal procedures are followed.

The MCAD is also responsible for maintaining the drawings in all phases of design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales of the product and archiving them accordingly with the right nomenclatures and status “Prototype” or “Commercial” in the product life -cycle management (PLM).

2. ORGANISATION

Reporting to the Project Manager, The MCAD will work closely with the development team.  The position is based at Schlumberger Riboud Product Center in Clamart, France.

3. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design 3D models of parts and assemblies using Creo.
  • Develop drawings in accordance with ISO and internal SLB norms and standards.
  • Manage products files using our product data management (PDM) “Windchill” in our product life-cycle Management tool (GEMS)
  • Design tools

4. SKILLS

  • University degree Bac +2 or Bac +3 level with solid knowledge of mechanical design, welding and manufacturing procedures and tolerance management.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MCAD.
  • Previous experience with the software Creo, Windchill, GEMS and MS Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in products files management, Prototype manufacturing and quality control.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Good level of English: professional level.
  • Ability to work Independently and in a team environment.
  • Solution oriented, technically inclined and enjoys creativity.

Concepteur Mécanique (H/F)

1. FONCTION

Le concepteur Mécanique aura la charge de la conception de pièces et ensembles mécaniques (maquettes, outillage de production, prototypes, …) et de leur dossier produit tout en satisfaisant aux exigences fonctionnelles, d’usinabilité et de fiabilité. Avec le support de l’ingénieur en charge et d’un designer senior, elle/il développera le dossier produit incluant toutes les informations nécessaires à la fabrication.

Elle/Il assurera que les plans de fabrication répondent aux normes en vigueur (exemple : ISO2768, ISO 1101, ISO1302, etc.) ainsi qu’aux procédures internes développées au sein de SLB.

Le concepteur aura pour mission la création et la mise à jour de plans en vue du développement, du test ou de la commercialisation de l’outil, la création et l’archivage de nomenclatures et leur promotion aux statu « Prototype » ou « Commercial » dans le PLM.

2. ORGANISATION

Le Concepteur Mécanique reportera au responsable de projet et travaillera en collaboration avec l’équipe de développement. Ce poste est basé sur le campus Schlumberger Riboud Product Center situé en France à Clamart.  

3. TACHES et RESPONSABILITES 

  • Modélisation 3D des pièces et assemblage avec le logiciel Creo.
  • Mise en plan en conformité avec les exigences internes et ISO correspondantes.
  • Gestion des dossiers produits à travers notre PDM (Windchill) et dans notre système PLM (GEMS).
  • Création d’outillages.

4. COMPETENCES

  • Concepteur niveau BAC+2 ou BAC+3, avec de solides connaissances de conception mécanique, procédés de soudure et d’usinage, et maîtrise du tolérancement.
  • Au moins 2 ans d’expérience.
  • Expérience en gestion de dossier, suivi de production de prototypes, planning et qualité.
  • Familier avec l’écosystème SLB pour la conception mécanique (Créo, Windchill, Gems) et les procédures d’archivage.
  • Bonne communication écrite et orale.
  • Bon Niveau d’anglais technique.
  • Peut travailler de façon indépendante et en équipe
  • Rigueur technique, autonomie, résolution de problème, créativité.
