Job Summary
The Electronic Technician Trainee is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Electronic Technician Trainee improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the maintenance base (MB), improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity. Responsibilities

Perform tasks associated with trouble shooting, evaluating, and repairing business line equipment.

Execute and close-out maintenance work orders.

Perform maintenance scheduling.

Read and use schematics to rebuild and repair all required assemblies.

Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program.

Comply with Technology Life Cycle Management (TLM) standards.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time.

Reconcile post job resources.

Participate in failure investigations.

Dispose equipment.
Minimum job qualifications

Electrical background with a college or technical degree.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to perform point to point diagnostics and calibrations.

Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and fundamental electrical equipment.

Initiative-taker, mechanically inclined will analytical skills.

Previous Wireline experience preferred.

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
