Qualifications and Education
Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Management, or equivalent.
-
Minimum five years of working experience in relevant field, with at least three years in managerial role in HSE.

Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) preferred
-
Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) preferred

Job Summary

Maintain and enhance HSE management systems in compliance with company, regulatory and industry requirements
-
Coordinate and formulate HSE improvement plan in respond to company, industry, regulatory, and customers' requirements.

Administrate employee participation schemes (e.g. Observation & Intervention, Risk Identification Reporting) to promote open communication environment.

Coordinate and execute Security related program and improvement plans.

Roles and
Responsibilities
|

Develop, support and supervise a team of HSE professionals at the facility on HSE management and matters
-
Maintain and update HE Manuals in compliance with company, ISO 14001 (environmental), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), and other applicable standards.
-
Promote, facilitate, and manage HE performance initiatives, including employee observation/suggestion scheme, and Workplace Health Programs.
-
Develop, coordinate, and conduct HSE training classes and education program, as needed. Maintain training records database.
-
Schedule and coordinate HE related external training.
-
Involve in developing, modifying and executing HSE policies and objectives.
-
Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed changes to HSE related regulations.
-
Carry out assignments resulting from changes in HSE management systems and/or regulatory requirements.
-
Be the technical expert on HSE issues by providing input to the management.
-
Involve in interpreting customer HSE requirements (RFQ/ITT/Contract/PO) and assist in translating the requirements into in-house specifications and procedures.

Coordinate HSE failure investigation and verify effectiveness of corrective actions implemented.

Schedule and ensure timely completion of HSE audits and inspections.

Support and/or conduct internal / external HSE audits

Provide HSE supports to suppliers/contractors
-
Coordinate management review meeting of the HSE management system.
-
Maintain and update HE data and documentation both online and off-line hardcopies.
-
Identify, procure and issue required personal protective equipment (PPE) and first aid supplies.
